SUMMARY:Mountain Travel and Rescue - MTR
DESCRIPTION:The Magic Mountain VT — MTR Course on November 2nd and 3rd at Magic. The weekend course includes online learning and two zoom sessions to prepare students for the two day in-person event. The event includes one night required camping on the mountain. \nRegistration is required with a fee of $60 for NSP Members. MTR Level 1 is a course that teaches Mountain Travel\, Survival\, Weather\, Leadership\, Low Angle Rope Rescue\, Navigation\, and organized Search and Rescue. Attending this course provides a search and rescue certification known as ASTM F2209-10 Level I Land Search Team Member. \nFor additional information go to Patroller School at this link. \nMountain Travel and Rescue LEVEL 1 Course — Magic Mtn.
